I used to wear sports jerseys often back in like elementary/middle school when I lived in Los Angeles, CA. Michael Jordan, Sammy Sosa, Brian Urlacher, and Walter Payton were the jerseys I had (I'm from Chicago). Other people who weren't poor wore them casually as well. : In general no one really wears jerseys past middle school, unless they are at the designated sporting event. However, the only jersey's I have seen worn outside of attending a sporting even are hockey and basketball jerseys usually and I've only seen that on the east coast where it is considered somewhat acceptable. All in all though wearing jerseys unless it's game day is deemed juvenile for some odd reason.
